The way in which we misperceive phenomena both inwardly and outwardly, provides the basis for our disturbing emotions and negative habitual patterns. If You Love Your Ego Let It Go (W) and if it doesn’t come back then good riddance…if it does come back realizing it to be the source of all suffering, set it free again. At the core of all the problems we face as individuals and as a collective, is our ego-clinging. Inner upheavals which arise in the mind as disturbing thought and emotional patterns, and external ones such as famine, war, and the deterioration of the elements and our planets resources, are all in large part brought upon by ego-clinging. Yet, with all of the suffering that our attachment to self brings,we still pamper and cherish it above all else as we would our own child. We make sure that we and those we favor are taken care of first, often times at the detriment of others. When we examine closely that which brings about true happiness both temporary and lasting, we see that it is when we are invested in the happiness of others that our own welfare is assured. Ego isn’t necessarily a problem, the problem comes by way of holding ourselves to be more important than another.

Seems like every other program & advertisement on TV & on the Internet uses sex & violence to push their product, or agenda. Every other video game out on the market seems to be an exercise or a desensitization program advocating & training us on how to kill, steal, plunder, & hurt others. All this does is increase the poisons of the mind; it increases our ignorance, lust, anger, pride, fear, & jealousy. All of us want happiness, & none of us like to suffer.
